Birds on wires/ One color cross-stitch pattern
Stitch the silhouettes of some birds on wires using only black thread.

Minimal geometric abstraction II: Needlepoint pattern
Stitch a contemporary pillow cover inspired by the art movement of geometric abstraction. In this project it was used the cheap burlap fabric but you can adapt the design in any canvas or aida fabric. Basketweave stitch is the most suitable stitch for this project, as it distorts the canvas less than the other two tent stitches. Moreover, the design is simple with large areas of color.
